I'm Dr. Zarya Rubin - a Harvard-educated former neurologist, executive, TEDx speaker, and burnout coach.

But more importantly: I've been exactly where you are.

From a very young age,  my nervous system learned to stay in survival mode—hypervigilant, driven, always scanning for the next threat.

That wiring followed me through pre-med, medical school, residency, fellowship. And the system rewarded it. Survival mode worked… until it didn't.

My wake-up call didn't come until I had done everything "right." That's when I realized: I hadn't failed medicine. Medicine had amplified a survival strategy my nervous system had been running since childhood.

Today, I help high-achieving women in midlife recognize survival mode early—before burnout costs them their health, their joy, their family or their careers.
